Trailblazing kids bike seats since 2012
It all started in 90s’ Scotland, a mountain biking mecca and the meet cute for our founders Glen Dobson and Ashley Howard. Glen (a local) and Ashley (a Canadian exchange student) met for the first time at university—seven years, one wedding and two kids later, we founded Ride More.
Before Ride More, the main child bike seats on the market were basically modified car seats awkwardly mounted behind the rider, clunky and uncomfortable—for parents and kids alike. So, we reengineered the category from our garage, introducing the Mac Ride prototype in 2012.
Since then, we’ve continued biking and innovating. With insight from our rad community of shredders, we will have soon up-levelled the Mac Ride, designed a version for infants, and brought the two together in one system to create the world's first modular child bike seat—because we think your gear should grow with your kids.
Founders Glen and Ashley meet at university in Scotland. It’s love at first ride.
