What Do Our Customers Have To Say?
from 968 reviewsThis are amazing quality. Well built & designed and are lasting for ever. made the mistake to buy competitive brand gloves when sizing up, from a well known brand which where way inferior. I'm back ordering new ones for both kids'!
Received the adapter and fit perfectly! What I did was order a set of Scott Top Cap w/ Spacer Kit from Amazon adjusted the spacers accordingly. I then placed the Mac Ride adapter on top of all the spacers with my new stem and worked like a charm. Still have all the Syncros spacers that match.
I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and they both love going riding now. I love how easy it is to adjust the height of the foot pedals for each of them. I also like how easy it is to take off the bike when I want to go ride trails by myself. I also like that it doesn’t mount to the frame of our bikes so that moving their seat forward and back is linear. Overall I highly recommend as a way to get out and ride with your kids!
My Kiddo is now hooked on going for a bike ride everyday. The front facing seat is perfect for her to experience what it's like to ride a bike with the wind hitting her face... I hope riding our bike together will be some of her first memories she remembers as she grows up. MacRide is rad!
We got the MacRide so it would fit on my Santa Cruz Hightower. It's a bit of a tight fit for the foot rests but nothing a little scratch tape can't fix. My little loves to go on rides with me and I know this will fuel her desire to start riding a push bike! She feels super safe and I feel confident using the MacRide!
Absolutely fantastic equipment, love it
This is an amazing product. It has been so much fun and provided some incredible memories. My son developed a love of biking very early on and it allowed us to ride as a family. The design is easy to take on and off and provides a secure seat I can feel confident about while being comfortable for my son.
I love that it comes with two spacers so we can quickly switch between bikes. Initial instal is very simply and fast. Took about 10 minutes since I had to learn how to take my handlebars off, but now that I know how, it would only take 5. Once the spacer is on it only takes 2 minutes to attach to bike. So many adjusting points will make it last for a long time. Our daughter is 22 months old and listens to direction well so we thought she was ready. We've been on 3 rides so far and she loves it. We can't wait to go on so many adventures! Glad I got this over a large bike seat.
I have had this for over a year now and my only regret is that I did not buy this sooner. This is hands down the best way to get around on a bike with your kid. We go mountain biking and bike all over town with this. We have a bike trailer and rear mounted seat and this is so much better. Your kids gets to interact and see everything. They get to ring the bell on your bike! You can actually have a conversation with them while biking and not have to yell for them to hear you or you hear them.
I was at first very nervous about having my kid sit in the position that this puts them but it is so stable. I was amazed by how secure my kid was.
The only hard part about this is installing the spacer. If you are not handy with working on your bike you will have to take it to someone to install it but if you are willing to watch a video or two it is actually quite simple. I installed both spacers on my and my partners bike and we can easily swap the seat between our bikes with one tool.
I sing the praises of this to everyone that I know when the subject comes up.
This is so much more fun for parent and child than pulling a bike trailer. You can communicate the whole ride, you drop all the weight of the trailer, and your child gets the benefit of whatever suspension you have. My daughter is on the small side and was totally comfortable and secure on the seat at 23 months old. Installation took maybe 5 minutes. Nothing extra needed for a Trek Marlin 8 (Gen 1).
We’re on a hilly street — makes for an easy exit & perfect for some of our long & short rides. Easy to clip on the carabiner from Mac ride! My son started with this at age 3 & easily attached and detached the ‘red rope’ for the climbs. My younger son rides in the seat and will soon use the rooe — the elastic is great and make for an easy pull when we set off. You’ll love it. 🤙
Our 2 year old is obsessed with her new mac ride seat!! She loves riding and going "zoom zoom" fast. We have been able to take her and our two other young kids on longer and longer bike rides. Even our 5 year old loves to ride on it! Thank you!!!
Well engineered so there is no additional play in the stirrups, I purchased the "wide" version which provided sufficient clearance on a Transition Relay.
Fits on the Cannondale Quick perfectly. East on/off for when the seat is not in use. Our family primarily rides along the river in Northern California. My 3 year old son cannot keep up on his own bike, but the Mac Ride has allowed our family to enjoy long distance, fast rides together. Wonderful product, great purchase.
Installed it on my Ride1Up Roadster V2 Gravel Edition, and my son is always asking to go for rides now. He is comfortable on it and there's plenty of room for me to pedal too. Great buy, 10/10.
Premium Features

Award Winning Design
The winner of numerous awards, we are proud of Mac Ride's strong and sleek design. Mac Ride does not use a cumbersome moulded seat, shoulder straps, or harnesses because a child strapped to a moulded seat absorbs the shakes and rattles of a moving bike.
With Mac Ride, your child can stand up on the stirrups, sharing the handlebars with you to help guide toward the right path. Your child can communicate with you about the trail features ahead, and to absorb the bumps in the path by bending legs and arms, just as you do. Totally unique bonding time, adventure, and fun.
