The e-bike adapter is kit you can use with a standard Mac Ride seat that increases the width of the Mac Ride stirrups to allow the seat to fit on a greater number of e-bikes.

The width of a Mac Ride seat's stirrups is 73mm. To allow for wiggle room and to ensure Mac Ride's stirrups don't touch your frame, we recommend a max top and down tube width of 68mm or less. This fits almost all cruisers and mountain bikes. If your frame is 68mm or wider, then you need an e-bike adapter. There are two sizes to choose from:

Wide: With the E-Bike Adapter-WIDE, the width grows from 73-102mm, and the recommended width of your top tube and down tube grows from 68mm to 97mm or less.
Extra-Wide: With the E-Bike Adapter-EXTRA WIDE, the width grows from 73 to 122mm, and the recommended width of your top tube and down tube grows from 68mm to 117mm or less.

Why go Wide over Extra Wide? Some e-bike riders like their Mac Ride stirrups to be as lean as possible, so if they don't need the extra width, they stick with the "Wide" adapter.

For packaging, where possible, we will use recycled materials (for ex, yellow envelopes lined with bubble wrap that we have received in the post with the arrival of stock).

Love that I can use the macride on my ebike

Well engineered so there is no additional play in the stirrups, I purchased the "wide" version which provided sufficient clearance on a Transition Relay.

MacRide now fits both bikes

We purchased this adaptor so that we can switch between my husband’s bike (Specialized Enduro) and my ebike (Specialized Turbo Levo Alloy). The wide fit perfectly. I can ride with my toddler comfortably.

Good Expansion

Got the x-wide so we could move our Mac Ride between my Evil and my Wife’s Electra Vale. The original fit on my bike just fine, the x-wide fits the big ebike downtube. Happy with the size. The fit and finish of the kit is solid.
