Our Story

Helping you ride through the toddler years

The toddler years are tough enough, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice weekend rides or your morning commute on two wheels because your kiddos are too young to bike (or keep up). As mountain bikers and parents, we married Glen’s engineering degree with Ashley’s MBA to found Ride More, so we can all keep riding, together.

Ordered it a month ago. Yet to arrive

19 months!

My 19month old baby has been using it and they love it! So easy to install and so secure. We are very happy.

Fantastic design

I absolutely love this seat, and more importantly, so does my kid. We had been using a rear mount seat when she was 2-3, but she was outgrowing it. I was really curious whether the mac-ride design was going to work for me, feel safe, and be comfortable for her. It's been great on all counts.

She was at first a little tentative about holding on without being strapped in, and a little tentative about being up front because she could really see and feel how fast we are going--that tentativeness faded after one short ride, and now she is super jazzed to ride in the seat.

I'm not using this for mountain biking, just tooling around town on a commuter bike.

Also, I'm happy that the seat works just fine on my Fairdale Weekender, as it has a funny "archer" handlebar configuration. No problems at all.

Best bike add on for kids

Only wish I had bought this sooner (son is 2)… works great on both my mountain bike and ebike w/ the quill stem adapter. My son took to it, almost prefers it more than his bike, which might be the only downside.
Stoked on the product and the ability it gives us as a family. Recommend constantly to friends and family.

Fits on bikes that didn't work with Shotgun seat

We love our Mac Ride seat! It was very easy to install and works perfectly on a bike that didn't work at all with the Shotgun seat (the top tube and bottom tube are two different sizes so the Shotgun clamp system wasn't fitting).
